Overbaro · local barometric pressure companion

Overbaro collects nothing. No account, no server, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. Every reading, every stored trend point and every prediction is calculated on your device and stays there.

What it reads, and where it stays

Barometric pressure. Read from your supported iPhone's built-in pressure sensor (via Core Motion), continuously while the app is open and briefly during periodic background refreshes. Filtered readings are stored locally to build your pressure history and short-range forecast — never uploaded anywhere.

Location (optional). If you enable it in Settings, Overbaro uses only coarse, infrequent "significant location change" updates — enough to notice you've travelled somewhere far so old pressure history isn't mixed with a new place. It is not continuous GPS tracking, and it never leaves your device. Leaving it off does not disable any core feature.

Your control

You can erase all stored pressure history at any time from Settings. Overbaro does not collect or transmit personal data, so there is nothing on our side to store, sell, share, or breach.

Not an official warning service

Overbaro's forecast is a local estimate from your own pressure trend, not a substitute for official weather warnings. For severe weather, always follow your local meteorological authority.

Children's privacy

Because Overbaro collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If the app's privacy practices materially change, this page will be updated before the change is released.
